XpeedDating is operated by Chapar AI ("we", "us"), the data controller for your personal data. We process your profile, booking and matching data to run the service. Optional uses — marketing communications and product analytics — rely on your consent, which you control in the app under Settings → Privacy & consent. The service is for adults aged 18 or over.

What we hold & why (legal basis)

• Account & profile (name, photos, preferences) — to provide matching and events (performance of our contract with you).
• Bookings & matching (RSVPs, attendance, matches, messages) — to run the service (contract).
• Financial data (an organiser's payout account; references to card payments + last four digits; credit balance and settlement records) — to take payments and pay organisers (contract + our legal obligation to keep transaction records).
• Marketing & analytics — only with your consent, withdrawable any time.
• Sensitive ("special category") details you choose to share — for example a sexual orientation expressed through your dating preferences — are processed only with your explicit consent, and solely to provide matching.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can access and export your data, change or withdraw consent, make your profile invisible, pause your account, or request deletion at any time. You may also object to or restrict processing and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office — ICO).

Payment & financial data

Card payments are processed by regulated providers (e.g. Stripe). We store only a reference to the payment and the last four digits — never your full card number, CVC, or any provider secret. An organiser's bank / payout details are stored encrypted and shown back only as the holder, bank, country and last four digits. We keep transaction and settlement records for as long as the law requires (e.g. tax/accounting), then erase or anonymise them. Storing a card or bank account requires accepting our Financial Terms (see Terms of Service → Financial Terms & Conditions).

Sharing

Your visible profile is shown to other members for matching unless you turn visibility off. We never sell your personal data, and payment data is shared only with our payment processors to complete a transaction.

Email & social sign-in

When you sign in with Google, Facebook, Apple or X, we receive your email address and basic profile (your name, and a photo only if you share one) from that provider through AWS Cognito, and use them to create and secure your account. We do not post to your social accounts or read your contacts. You can use email and password instead.

Keeping & deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account), or ask us to delete your data. We remove your profile and content promptly; records we are legally required to keep (for example transaction and tax records) are retained only for the period the law requires, then erased or anonymised. Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Amazon Web Services; production data is hosted in London (United Kingdom). Where any data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we protect it with recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. All information recorded in the system is protected under applicable data-protection law (including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) and by the platform’s security controls.
